Sew Day Workshops
One Saturday a month, guild volunteers host Sew Day Workshops at the First United Methodist Church in Harlingen. Members can learn from volunteer teachers about basic sewing techniques to advance skills. Members practice on donated fabrics and will complete quilts by year end to donate to the Guild's chosen nonprofits.

Challenge Blocks

Every year members receive new fabric and a new quilt block pattern.
Members are challenged to come up with a design using the fabrics and block pattern. Members can make and turn in as many blocks as they like. Afterwards a member will sew together the blocks to complete an opportunity quilt that will be raffled off.

National & Local Quilt Teachers
Teachers are scheduled three times a year. Classes are open to guild members . When space is available, spots will be opened to the public.
