The guild was established as a Non Profit 501(c) Organization in Harlingen, Texas in October of 2000 by 11 ladies.

Membership is open to all ages, junior memberships are welcomed.

The Guild meets once a month on the 2nd Monday evening, 6:00 p.m. at the Harlingen Public Library. We offer education and information about quilting, as well as fellowship with others who love fabric and quilting. Whether traditional or art quilts are your passion, we have members and teachers to share their knowledge. We offer programs and classes year-round, including National Speakers at our meetings.
